Meet Your Geospatial Consultant
My name is Jake Hechter
I have a passion for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial data management and clear, well-designed IT systems and processes. For the past 15 years, I have worked in technical and leadership roles in the geospatial industry specialising in ESRI's ArcGIS technology stack.

I've led geospatial enterprise migrations, designed spatial data frameworks and guided cross-agency projects that improved internal operations and community outcomes

I hold a MSc in Geography from The Univerisity of Auckland's School of th Environment and a MBA from the University of Otago. My training has empowered me to combine technical know-how with a strategic approach

I live in New Plymouth, NZ, where I enjoy the outdoors and geography on my doorstep at every opportunity. I love exploring NZ's coastline, mountains and everything in between.
